
ABOUT LAC THERAPIES
L.A.C. Sports Therapy is a mobile Sports Therapy service, offering treatments in an environment of the patient's choosing, whether that be a home or work place, on an individual basis or as part of a team/ event. The service is based in Sandbach, and is available for appointments in and around Cheshire.
This service is run by Liam Carrigg, a Graduate Sports Therapist having studied, full time, at Edge Hill University. For the past 2 years, Liam has worked in private practice clinics in Stoke and Stone, and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapist, an organisation which aim to regulate members for the safety of the general public. He is currently the Lead Sports Therapist for Leek RUFC.
L.A.C. Sports Therapy was initially set up in St. Helens, Merseyside in 2011. The local client base developed in this time participated in a range of activities, such as Cycling, Dance, Rugby League, Professional Wrestling and Track & Field, and at varying levels of participation. During the time based in St. Helens, Liam worked as a Physio and Match-Day First Aider for Blackbrook ARLFC, an amateur Rugby League team competing in the National Conference League. From this, Liam has worked with the Lancashire amateur rugby league team during the end of season BARLA (British Amateur Rugby League Association) Tri-series tournament. Liam was also the Therapist for the BARLA Young Lions (under 19s) team during their tour of Canada.
